What You Need To Know

Parents or guardians of all NEW players must show us the players ORIGINAL (Raised Seal) birth certificate at an in person registration event. Copies are NOT acceptable. This is a Little League International requirement.

Know your child's "Baseball League Age". The division in which players are registered is dependent on their "Baseball League Age”.

Although skill level, parental wishes and league numbers are taken into consideration, the general ages for each division of play are as follows:

T-Ball Division 4-6** year old's,
Rookie Division 5-6 year old's,
Diamond Division 7-8 year old's,
Vosburgh Division 9-10 year old's, and
Little League Division 11-12.

Again, when registering your player, you will select the division based on their "Baseball League Age". Special requests will be reviewed after skills assessments for all players are completed.

** SPECIAL NOTE: All 4 year old's must be registered for T-ball. If your child has not previously played T-ball and is 5 or 6 years old then we would encourage you to sign them up to play their first year in T-ball. If your child has previously played T-ball and is 5 or 6 years old then we would encourage you to sign them up for Rookie ball. Exceptions to these recommendations can be made but must be approved by the Homer LL Player Agent and Division Director(s).

School Enrollment Form OR Residency Requirements Documentation?

Before starting the registration process you should know if you are going to use a completed school enrollment form OR 'Residency Requirements Documentation' to establish eligibility in Homer Little League.

If your player attends one of the Homer Public Schools you can establish eligibility for Homer Little League by completing the top portion of the School Enrollment form (link below) and returning it to us. We will work with the school to get all remaining sections of the form completed. When utilizing the school enrollment form please ignore the Residency Requirements Documentation noted below. 

If your player does not attend a Homer Public School then ignore the school enrollment form as that is not an option for you. You will have to prove residency within our league boundaries by providing documents as noted in the table below from Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3. Please note that documentation provided as proof of residency must contain the following:

1) the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, and
2) Be dated or in force between February 1 of 2019 and February 1, 2020.

Register On-Line or In Person

Registering On-Line?

If you are registering on-line you should have all the information described above ready to upload electronically. Photo's of required information is acceptable for upload provided that it clearly shows the information being requested.

Registering In Person?

If you are registering in person then you will need completed hard copies of all required documentation described above as well as a completed Medical Release Form and completed Photo Release Form which can be accessed below.
